The kittens have grown, some have been adopted, and we will be updating this page soon!
Caring for animals has always been one of my passions.
Giving them the best chance possible!
That’s really what this amazing adventure has been all about.
I’ve been an animal lover for my life and my entire family are all animal lovers, but I have never actually been responsible for a feral female cat who was clearly very pregnant. Still, when I became aware of the situation, it was something that I was immediately completely committed to.
Being a foster parent to a feral cat is one thing and something I have done a number of times. Most of the cats I have had have been either rescues or feral. Still being a foster parent to a feral mother, who was not much more than a kitten herself, and 6 new baby kittens has been quite the experience!
A bit unsteady, but eyes wide open, they were ready to start exploring the world!
There were a lot of challenges…some expected, some not so expected.
Their first solid food meal!
Although active, they still had not opened their eyes.
When one is up and at it….all of them are up and at it!
All six kittens have been socialized with humans since shortly after birth and all are interacted with individually several times per day.
Place holder for story.
A close knit group.
We are hoping to adopt these amazing kittens in pairs.
Interestingly, the all black pair, black and white pair, and light colored pair have definitely shown a particular affinity for their similarly colored sibling.
Adoption Success! These kittens have been adopted…
Interestingly, we have noted that the kittens are paired in three distinct ways:
2 pure black - both with medium fur length and blue eyes.
2 black and white - one with medium fur and the other with long fur.
2 light colored - one with short fur and siamese like coloring and the other with long fur and a unique facial coloring.
All of the kittens were handled since birth, are socialized, fully “potty” trained, and weaned.
